With a Scion Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle, you can rest easy knowing it has been reconditioned to meet Scion’s exacting standards by factory-trained Scion technicians, and has passed a rigorous inspection process. Secondly, to be a Certified Scion, a vehicle must pass a comprehensive set of qualifications, including completion of a CARFAX Vehicle History Report and a 160-point Quality Assurance Inspection.
Also, all Scion Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles are backed by a 3-month/3,000-mile Comprehensive Warranty as well as a 7-year/100,000-mile Limited Power train Warranty and a 7-year/100,000-mile Roadside Assistance Plan from the original date of first use when sold as new. Scion's VSA's protect your vehicle's covered components while providing you with benefits like towing reimbursement. Depending on how many miles you drive and how long you plan to keep your vehicle, we have protection plans to meet your needs. Sound EASY? It is!
Scion Certified Used Vehicle Protection Plan Summaries
All Scion Certified Used Vehicles come with a Limited Warranty that covers engine, transmission and axle-assembly components. Toyota Financial Services offers a Certified VSA that enhances this Limited Warranty by covering additional key components while your Limited Warranty is in effect.
The Scion Extra Care Certified VSA is available ONLY through a Scion dealer at the time you purchase or lease your TCUV. Our Certified Platinum VSA, which is the highest level of extended service coverage for virtually every component group in your vehicle, is $1,290 and available only at the time of delivery. Plus there is no out-of-pocket expense thanks to our $0 deductible.
If your vehicle component does not appear on our List of Excluded Components , it is covered by Certified Platinum. Certified Platinum protects you from rising repair costs during the same time and mileage period that your TCUV Limited Warranty is in effect (7 years from the date of first use or 100,000 total vehicle miles, whichever occurs first).
